    The Opportunity

    You will be part of a dynamic and highly skilled, consulting team that provides planning and program support for a large-scale technology modernization project in the federal government. You will support with functional IT analysis, design and integration. You will assist with all phases of the project and research best practices to facilitate the goal. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, detail oriented, data driven, action oriented and have strong analytical problem-solving skills.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Work closely with consultants and team-leads with designing/improving/executing solutions
    • Maintain database performance; implement new releases; complete database maintenance requirements
    • Recommend solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications
    • Actively engage with the business and the team to create reports, and dashboards
    • Gain an understanding of the business, firm’s policies and the team’s processes and make recommendations accordingly
    • Stay up to date on best practices within the field of data and database management and how to apply efficient data manipulation, and data validation techniques to ensure integrity and efficiency
    • Ability to explain the ramification of decisions to both the technical and non-technical data users

    To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:

    • A U.S. Citizenship, able to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Public Trust clearance
    • A Legal Permanent Residents may qualify with a minimum of 3 years of residency
    • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or similar/related fields
    • 1-3 years of relevant experience
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Interest in supporting management-related functions on a technology systems project
    • Technical capabilities in creation of deliverables using MS Office Suite
    • Intermediate level skills in MS PowerPoint and Word
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments with tight deadlines
    • Facility with fast-paced environments and strong problem solving skills
    • Apt in learning new skills rapidly and efficiently learn client business and processes

    Ideally, You'll Also Have:

    • Experience working with Executive IT, Business Leadership, or the Federal Government
    • Professional meeting and presentation preparation (materials creation, data visualization, logistics) Experience working in the financial services or the professional services industry
    • Project Support or Project Management experience
    • Knowledge of standard IT methodologies and processes, such as PMBOK, Prince2, Six Sigma, CMMI, Agile, Product Management and Systems Development Life Cycles
    • An understanding of master scheduling and integrated project planning
    • Experience with enterprise PMO and Lean PMO setup and operation
