You will be part of a dynamic and highly skilled, consulting team that provides planning and program support for a large-scale technology modernization project in the federal government. You will support with functional IT and business analysis, design and integration. You will assist with all phases of the project and research best practices to facilitate the goal. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, detail oriented, data driven, action oriented and have strong analytical problem-solving skills.

The Opportunity

This role works within an established team to deliver organizational and management consulting services to federal executives. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Main responsibilities for a successful candidate include:
 

  • Assist with developing plans/timelines and materials for high-level presentations
  • Work closely with consultants and team-leads with designing/improving/executing solutions
  • Support with the design of business process management tools and creating efficiencies
  • Attend and support with weekly status briefings
  • Research and analyze best practices, trends and relevant data to support overall program goals

 
The primary focus for this role is to support in the execution and continuous improvements to the program. Other responsibilities include:
 

  • Ensuring that program processes are executed/facilitated in a timely and accurate manner
  • Supporting program-wide meetings to review items needing resolution, facilitation of meetings (e.g. agendas, meeting minutes and following up on action items)

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:

  • US Citizen, able to obtain an maintain US government Public Trust clearance
  • Legal Permanent Residents may qualify with a minimum of 3 years of residency
  • Bachelor's degree in: Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Sciences, or similar/related fields
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills Interest in supporting management-related functions on a technology systems project
  • Technical capabilities in creation of deliverables using MS Office Suite
  • Intermediate level skills in MS PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments with tight deadlines
  • Facility with fast-paced environments and strong problem solving skills

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

  • Project Support or Project Management experience
  • Experience in the federal government
  • Professional meeting and presentation preparation (materials creation, data visualization, logistics)
